Vegetable Potluck Casserole

1/2 lb. bacon
1 lg. sweet onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can peas
1 can lima beans
1 can pork & beans, without sauce
1/2 c. milk
salt & pepper, to taste

Cut bacon in small pieces and brown in skillet.
Add chopped onion and green pepper and saute until tender.
Pour into large casserole dish;
Add remaining ingredients (do not drain vegetables.)
Bake 3 hours at 325 degrees, stirring occasionally.
