Sweet Potato Casserole

3 c. sweet potatoes, about 4 good-sized ones
1/2 c. sugar plus 2 Tbsp.
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Peel and cut potatoes into 1/2pieces. Boil and mash potatoes. Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, milk and vanilla. Put in greased 9x13 baking dish.
For topping mix melted butter, brown sugar, flour and pecans. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Yield: 10-12 servings.
