Ginger Bread

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. cooking oil
1 c. Blackburn-Made syrup (blue label)
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk

Sift together; flour, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, soda, salt.
In a separate bowl mix; oil, syrup, eggs and buttermilk.
Mix with dry ingredients and pour into greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until center is done.

Hard Sauce:
1 c. powdered sugar
6 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch salt
1-2 Tbsp. boiling water

Spread over warm bread.
